HISTORY AND SHAREHOLDERS
Following the nationalisation of the banking sector imposed by the Soviet authorities immediately after the October 1917 Revolution; BIC-BRED was founded on the 8th July 1919. It was created by the members of the board of Directors of the Banque International de Commerce of Petrograd; an institution which was originally founded in 1869.

BIC-BRED is present in Paris and Geneva. Its headquarters are located in Paris and its branch opened in 1991 in Geneva. Lastly, it is represented in Istanbul.
